I always liked microscopes...this is from my high school yearbook.

I am the geek in the back ground not the guy in the Howdy Doody shirt.

Now I can afford a slightly more capable microscope:

  This is my wife Sue so you can see that 

my microscope has grown larger.

This is the set up.  You can take 4x5 pictures with the camera at the top,

and 35mm pictures with the Nikon system mounted on the 45 degree adapter.

With all the labs converting to digital, 35mm camera systems can be had on Ebay for pennies on the dollar.
