Susan Shields did much of her growing up in Midland, Michigan. She graduated from Smith College (Class of 1974), received her MBA from the University of Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at T.C.U. She works at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital as the Director of Cancer Services.
